Cricketer Sachin Tendular's retirement from test cricket has left Aamir Khan wanting to "celebrate his spectacular innings". The superstar has decided to dedicate the title track of his forthcoming film `Dhoom 3` to the master blaster.<br /><br />"Through his entire career he has created 'Dhoom' in every step, on every pitch, in every cricketing country, in every bowler's nightmare, in our hearts, in every cricket field across the world, and in the hearts of every cricket fan across the world. So, very appropriately, we humbly dedicate our song 'Dhoom machale' to the genius," Aamir said in a statement Saturday.<br /><br />Tendulkar is scheduled to play his 200th Test match against the West Indies in his hometown Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium next week (Nov 14-18), drawing curtains on a spectacular cricket career spanning over two decades.<br /></div>

Star Cast: Manish Paul, Elli Avram, Manish Chaudhary, Varun Bandola, Puja Gupta, Vikesh Kumar, Nitesh Pandey<br /><br />Director: Saurabh Varma<br /><br />Rating: ***<br /><br />Well finally it's once again proved that the thumb rule that, only big budget movies or the ones studded with glittering star-cast, own the potency to charm the masses, doesn't hold true any more. Featuring Manish Paul, Elle Avram, Manish Chaudhary, Varun Bandola, Nitesh Pandey et al cine saga with its roots embedded in virtual world made it's way to cineplexes. This comic techno-thriller received a bleak response at its opening and could only invite a foot-fall of approximately 4 percent due to some very obvious reasons.<br /><br />Mickey Virus primarily narrates the story of a Delhi based sloppy "computer ka kidaa" Mickey (Manish Paul) who in the days hours sits in his Poppi's (mom's) grocery shop, selling those wafers and biscuits whereas at night his main job is to develop computer viruses and provide hacking solutions to those in need of them, and to perform these notorious yet non-hazardous activities he has his own band of hacker pals comprising Chutney (Puja Gupta), Pancho (Vikesh Kumar) and Floppy (Raghav Kakar). All was going fine for Mickey and his gang of pals till the time Mickey has a rendezvous ACP Siddanth (Manish Singh) and Inspector Bhalla (Vrun Badola) who in order to hunt down a gang of hackers which operates online decides to hire a street smart hacker.<br /><br />Before going into the details of Mickey Virus' script it is pertinent to mention here that ever-since the release of "Vicky Donor" our Bollywooders seems to have become more courageous in trying their hands on off beat yet interesting story-lines and undoubtedly "Mickey Virus" is the one belonging to the ilk, where scriptwriter has quite praise-worthily tried to bank upon the novel story ideas pertaining to virtual world. Although Mickey Virus shares not even a single point of reference with the former but the novelty of premise, dialect and the milieu where story has its base certainly reminds you of Shoojit Sircar's masterpiece.<br /></div>
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/mickey-virus2.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Anyhow getting back to the Mickey Virus, belonging to comic thriller genre primarily pertaining to the world of hackers "Mickey Virus" can safely be called an out-of-the box cine delight for the cine enthusiasts residing in this part of the world. With a sound dose of humor and thrill, "Micky Virus" is a fine blend of number of rib tickling and on-the-edge-of-the-seat moments. </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Despite being a first timer scribe Saurab Varma seemed to be well versed with the story-line and has quite confidently dealt with the entire plot of "Micky Virus". </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">As we all know that till this age of Indian cinema despite many attempts seldom a full fledged cine chronicle has been developed on theme of "hacking." Although we got many opportunities to see their titbit appearances in many sci-fi sagas. But "Micky Virus" does a thorough justice to its theme and never makes you feel psychologically tired while watching it and for this all credit goes to movie's director and script writer Saurab Varma, who quite conveniently assorted mild humor along with thrill and that too without leaving much scope for practicability. As stated that first half of the movie is solely dedicated to some light moments, but on the other side of the loo-break lies a thrilling and gripping story line which keeps your attention glued to the celluloid. </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">With a nicely tailored script screenplay of "Micky Virus" acts like a cherry on the cake, where first half of Micky Virus showcases Micky and his don't give it damn attitude, the second half altogether leaps into different shade i.e of thrill. Glued together both these halves make "Mickey Virus" at-least a sensible and watchable tale. </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Lingo used in the movie typically signify the Delhite dialect, which up-till an extent magnifies the appeal of the dialogues, but counting them as something thoroughly captivating will be wrong. </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">In performance arena, Manish has thoroughly embraced his character and has performed his part with quite an ease. In a short yet sassy role even Elle has looked effortless and lovable, but the men who deserves the major part of "accolade cookie" are Manish Chaudhary and Varun Badola who not only perform there respective roles with thorough confidence but also keep you enthralled with their expressiveness. Nitesh Pandey along with Puja Gupta is just fine.</span><br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/mickey-virus1.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Music of Mickey Virus with songs like Pyaar China Ka Maal has already occupied some space in the iPad and lappi's of Youngistan. </span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">As far as BO potential of "Mickey Virus" is concerned then certainly it is not going to earn much at the ticket window and may end up being an average grosser. To sum up, if you can feel satiated with a mild dose of humor and thrill with its roots embedded in a novel story-line then you should get infected with Mickey Virus.</span></div>

<br />
Well if we go back to identify the onset era of Sci-fi or Superhero movies in Bollywood, then fascination of B-town biggies for superhero movies dates back to sixth decade of last century, but the genre actually marked its onset in mid of 80s, when Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer Mr India came in to cine arena to charm the masses, post that a few more noteworthy flicks made to cine arena. And in the last almost 26 years despite a very lean number of flicks belonging to the genre of Sci-Fi or Superhero movie, the genre has taken a quantum leap.<br />
<br />
Even if look at the "Krrish franchise" or "Brand Krrish" then probably ten years back even conceptualiser of "Brand Krrish" Rakesh Roshan wouldn't have foreseen that some day his flagship initiative "Krrish" will turn into one of the most sought after cine brands of Bollywood, but it did.<br />
<br />
So with "Krrish 3" making its way to cineplexes all we Indian have got ample reasons to be boastful about having our most sought super hero "Krrish" in the league of Batman and Superman.</div>
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-5.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Anyhow, this larger than life dream project of Roshans, which kept masses await from almost last one and a half year finally made it to cine arena and recorded a decent foot-fall of approximately 60% at its opening. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">By now it's a known fact that Rakesh Roshan is one of the most exceptional story teller and even with "Krrish 3" he didn't forget to adhere to this trait of his. Right at the onset the premise of "Krrish 3" takes-off with a voice over where Big B narrates the past sequences and instances which subsequently lead to the emergence of current stage. And from there takes-off the premise of "Krrish 3", where Krrish aka Krishna ( Hrithik) after rescuing his father Rohit Mehra ( again played by Hrithik) returns to India. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">But now the circumstances have changed where Rohit has started working with Indian Research Institute as scientist, Krrish who is now married to Priya (Priyanka Chopra) is living a happy married life in Mumbai. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-8.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Beyond the remotest ideas of this happily living family, is the existence of Kaal (Vivek Oberoi) the beast in the robe of human who is misusing his psychic brilliance to create a chaotic milieu in the world. And to meet his objective, Kaal, develops baneful viruses and besides that also owns a brigade of beasts which he calls "Maanvar" ( Manushya +Jaanwar) a deadly combo of human and animal traits which he creates by the DNA fusion of human and animals. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">In an effort of creating a devastation, Kaal tries to induce an epidemic in Mumbai through his virus, but his this plan gets ruined by Rohit and Krrish. And what follows next is a thrilling action packed journey in the world of Krrish. So do Krrish succeeds in demolishing Kaal and his brigade of beasts or not? to know watch Krrish. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-15.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">As stated, that Rakesh is an exceptional story teller who is not only well versed with the art of picking up the most entertaining tales, but at the same time also masters the art of narrating them in the most captivating manner and with "Krrish 3" the ace cinematographer has once again exhibited his deftness in the skill. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Undoubtedly "Krrish 3" belong to the "Sci-fi" and "Superhero" genre of movie making, but Rakesh along with his team of writers comprising Robin Bhatt, Honey Irani, Irrfan Kamal , Akarsh Kurana and Sanjay Masoom has very well assorted the human factor in the script of the Krrish 3. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-13.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Despite being perceived as a core Sci Fi saga story-line of "Krrish 3" exceptionally integrates the emotions, bonding, barbarity in quite a proportionate manner. And all this doesn't ends here what more embedded in the script of "Krrish 3 is a super-powerful antagonist heading a brigade of beasts and on top of it, "Krrish 3's script deserves kudos for never showcasing protagonists as something immortal or out of this world and antagonists as meager punching bag for our super hero. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">But yeah at same time keeping in view the notions of rationalists, who may discard the transformation of human into "Maanwar" or "Human Beasts" all we can say that if even cinema will start following the rational rubrics, then probably it will fail in delivering entertaining content. So kudos to entire team of writers for adroitly tailoring an entertaining script. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-21.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">As far as screenplay of Krrish is concerned then, probably nothing much needs to be said because by now Rakesh Roshan has turned into a virtuoso of Sci-fi genre. Despite Krrish 3's being a sequel of "Koi Mil Gaya", and "Krrish" it gets very clear right at the onset that Rakesh Roshan along with his screenplay-writer companion, Robin Bhatt want to establish "Krrish 3" as a standalone cine cantata. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">With first few minutes solely dedicated to the background which has its roots entrenched in the plot of "Koi Mil Gaya" and "Krrish" Rakesh tries to make audience well-aware of the the situation which has lead to current state of affair (so for all those who have not seen "Koi Mil Gaya" and "Krrish" nothing to worry about). Subsequently what follows is a smooth first half which without any hurry introduces the masses to the characters performing on the silver screen, whereas, it's the second half that holds your attention till the culmination. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-19.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">If we go by the technical aspect then with major chunk of "Krrish 3" made in VFX first half may disappoint you momentarily, where graphics appear a bit hazy and imprecise, but as soon as the second half arrives this specially induced feature along with believable action sequences strikes back with a bang. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Coming to the music department of the movie then frankly speaking having those aural delights was no where required in "Krrish 3" but as it is a customary rule for our Bollywood Superheros to be adroit in dancing too, hence in order to meet that objective obviously we need some musical tadka also. Anyhow, with "Dil Tu Hi Bata" being the topper of the track list music of "Krrish 3" is strictly OK. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Coming to the performances of our antagonists and protagonists, then in a dual role of Rohit and Krishna aka Krrish, Hrithik conveniently slips under the skin of his character. And in fact keeping in view those Greek god like looks and appropriate emotional expressiveness of Hrithik, it won't be wrong to say that , neither there could have been any other better choice than him nor anybody else could have succeeded in doing the justice to the the character of Krrish. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">With quite confined scope of performance Priyanka has looked lovable. After seeing him flunking in some of his recent cine stints Vivek has finally regained the momentum and up-till great extent has succeeded in doing a thorough justice to his character of, Kaal the attrocious antagonist. </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">But the performer who in-spite of not being on the center stage surprises everyone by her performance is Kangana. Although in "Krrish 3" Kangs plays the character with grey shades, but even while doing that she has not only charmed the masses like anything, but at the same time has proved her acting potential too. Be it about exhibiting wickedness or showing that emotional side, Kangna has thoroughly improved herself on every front, so special bunch accolades for her. </span><br />
<br />
<center style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">
<img align="center" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/krrish3-11.jpg" style="border: 0px; max-width: 620px;" /></center>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Well with so many brownie points in its favor, "Krrish 3" has got all the components to make it a decent BO grosser. And probably besides a good amount of entertaining quotient, it's the prevailing legacy of our Indian Superhero which may make "Krrish 3" one of the biggest BO grosser of the year. </span><br />

And hence keeping in view the stupendous efforts of Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik, Priyanka and Kangana, a half star extra for this somewhat first of its kind cine experience in India. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are seen as rivals in Bollywood and Salman's father Salim Khan Thursday said that it's not possible for two competitors to appreciate each other's work.<br /><br />Salim Khan just patched up with his writing partner Javed Akhtar to unveil the trailer of the 3D version of their 1975 cult film "Sholay". They parted ways about 32 years ago after writing together hit scripts like "Zanjeer", "Sholay", "Deewaar" and "Mr. India".<br /><br />When asked would the hit pair of "Karan Arjun" (Shah Rukh and Salman) ever appear as Jai and Veeru in future, Salim Khan said: "They are individuals and grown up people, and such things happen, but there cannot be love between rivals. It's not possible. Only saints can do that."<br /></div>

One of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's midnight rendezvous hit a roadblock on Saturday.<br /><br />The star apparently took the driver's seat to pick up his ladylove from a preview theatre in Santa.Cruz.<br /><br />Kat, along with several other Bollywood folk, was watching a private screening of the recent Hollywood film, Captain Phillips. After the movie was over, RK reached the spot along with friend Ayan Mukerji, but when the duo noticed that there are some photographers present at the venue, they took a hurried U turn and made a quick exit from the theatre. Minutes later Katrina left the place in her own car.<br /></div>

He did not step in. He had apparently arrived to pick up Katrina. Probably RK, Kat and Ayan had some late night dinner plans. But when they realised they might get caught on camera, Ranbir decided to drive away."</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;" /><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 15px; line-height: 24px;">Adds the source, "He was spotted when the screening was almost complete and when people were stepping out. Former model Candy Brar, latest to be evicted from "Bigg Boss - Saath 7", says she was a "nervous wreck" inside the house because of the atmosphere. She feels most of the contestants are actors and they manipulate their moods to be in the limelight.<br /><br />"It was the atmosphere in there. Everybody was eager to make his or her presence felt. Most of them are actors, so they can orchestrate mood changes to suit their needs," said Candy, who was evicted Saturday.<br /><br />"Someone like Aijaz Khan knows exactly how to manipulate his moods to provoke others. I couldn't do that. I am not someone from the limelight. I didn't know how to attract attention to myself. I didn't want to," she added.<br /><br />This was not her first reality show -- she was the runner up of MTV's adventure reality show "Roadies 2".<br /><br />But she feels that she is not cut out for something like "Bigg Boss".<br /><br />"That place was not for me. I was there for barely two weeks, and it was suffocating. I just couldn't take it," said Brar, who currently looks after the business and marketing of Showman Entertainment.<br /><br />"Not that anyone had a fight with me or was rude to me, or anything. Nothing like that. But there was so much negativity in there. If I had stayed one more week, I'd have fallen ill," she added.<br /><br />Candy has no complaints against the contestants.<br /></div>

According to Niharica, she was busy with an ad film when she received the director's e-mail, followed by a phone call from the
team asking me to meet up.

<br /><div style="overflow: hidden;">
<br />
</div>
In a major setback to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, a Mumbai
court Monday rejected his review plea challenging a magistrate's order
for a re-trial in the 2002 hit-and-run case on charges of culpable
homicide not
amounting to murder.
<br /><br />
Salman has been given one month's time to appear before the sessions
court and face trial in the case, Sessions Judge U.B. Hejib said in his
ruling delivered in an open court Monday afternoon.<br /><br />
The date for starting the re-trial has been fixed for July 19.<br /><br />
If convicted, the 47-year-old actor could face a 10-year jail sentence
as stipulated under Section 304 (II) (culpable homicide not amounting to
murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
<br /><br />
The case relates to the time the actor's SUV ran over pavement dwellers
in suburban Bandra in the early hours of Sep 28, 2002, killing one and
injuring four others.
<br /><br />
In his verdict, Judge Hejib said that the offence of "culpable homicide
not amounting to murder" had been made out against the actor in the
accident case.<br /><br />
Earlier, Salman Khan had been tried by a Bandra metropolitan magistrate
under the less serious charge under Section 304 (A) (causing death by
negligence) of IPC, which carries a two-year jail sentence.
<br /><br />
The magistrate later invoked Section 304 (II) of IPC after examining 17
witnesses and transferred the case for re-trial by the session court.
<br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/salman-mobbed.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Strongly opposing it, Salman Khan's lawyer Ashok Mundargi had argued
that the magistrate's order was "erroneous, bad in law and contrary to
evidence on record".<br /><br />
He contended that the magistrate had failed to appreciate that the actor
had neither the intention to kill people, nor knowledge that his rash
and negligent driving could kill one person and injure four more.<br /><br />
Countering the arguments, public prosecutor S. Erande pointed out that a
prosecution witness, the late Ravindra Patil, who was a police personal
bodyguard for Salman, had repeatedly warned the actor not to drive
rashly as it could lead to an accident.
<br /><br />
But Salman did not heed and drove at high speed, leading to accident, said Erande, while opposing the actor's appeal.
<br /><br />
The magistrate had rightly invoked the charge of culpable homicide as the actor had committed a serious offence, he added.
<br /><br />
Erande further stated that Salman's blood samples revealed that he was
inebriated, with 60 mg alcohol, which is beyond permissible limits for
driving.

<br /><br />
Starring Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskara, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub<br /><br />
Directed by Aanand L. Rai<br /><br />
Rating: * * * *<br /><br />
This enormously-enriching film about the pain of love has four heroes:
Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, A R Rahman's music and the city of Varanasi. Not
necessarily in that order. But then 'orderly conduct' is hardly a given
in a film about raging unrequited love.
<br /><br />
He loves her to death. Cross his heart and hope to die. And it's their
wedding day. But they're not getting married to one another. As he
returns exhausted from messing up her marriage to another man, the
slumbering band-baaja wallahs at his own wedding hasten awake and begin
playing a wedding song wearily. <br /><br />
It's a brilliant defiant moment defining the contradictions and savage ironies of romantic associations. <br /><br />
Raanjhanaa tells us, it is not so cool to fall in love. Unless you're
ready to slither on the ground for love, if the need arises.
<br /><br />
Ever wondered why we FALL and not rise in love? Just looking at Aanand
Rai's unforgettable dazzling and non-derivative take on unrequited love
set amidst the bustling river-bank politics of Varanasi, we know all
over again that love can kill your spirit, soul, selfesteem and finally
your physical presence as well. <br /><br />

Towards the end when the film's obsessive Majnu has lost everything,
there is one of the many powerfully-written scenes where the
very-talented Swara Bhaskara playing a loud aggressively besotted
suitor-in-waiting tells her on-screen Soutan, `That isn't my man dying
inside. My man would never be spitting blood. `<br /><br />
Angry, aggressive, passionate, temperamental, moody and quite simply
majestic Raanjhanaa is an opulent epic seductive raging and rippling ode
to love. The script (written by Himanshu Sharma) journeys from the
lover-boy Kundan's childhood when he first sees his object of adoration
doing her namaaz, and follows him to adulthood, much in the same way as
he follows Zoya around with.
<br /><br />
In seductive spirals of song-filled rhapsody we see Kundan pursuing his
lady-love through the robust gallis and mohallahs of Varanasi.<br /><br />
It's a beautifully charted journey, much less foul-mouthed and
belligerent than Habib Faisal's Ishaqzaade and far more mature and
relevant than Ayan Mukerjee's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and made vastly
enjoyable by the director's confident and unhurried control over his
lover's uncontrollable passion. It's as though Rai knows that the heart
is more prone to betrayal than redemption. <br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/raanjhnaa5.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
The film celebrates the pain of heartbrokenness. She slaps him? That's
fine. He loves her all the more for it. She turns his proposal down?
That's okay. He'll do it again. . . and. . . again. It's the
protagonist's single-mindedness that navigates this enchanting love
story through a series of circumstances that make Kundan look as brazen
as they make destiny look cruel. <br /><br />
Throughout Kundan's self-destructive odyssey into the heart's darkest
regions we are made privy into his agony and ecstacy. We know exactly
how his heart beats. Maybe partly because it beats to the sound of A R
Rahman's evocative songs. <br /><br />We see Zoya just the way Kundan does:
tall, creamy-complexioned, warm, seductive and unattainable. Dhanush as
the worshipping lover-boy lets his face become the map of his heart. <br /><br />So
transparent are his feelings for the girl that every kind word or
gesture from her brings a response of teary gratitude in his eyes. <br /><br />
This is not love as we see it in today's day and age. It is the kind of
adoration that Radha had for Krishna. In many ways Raanjhanaa is a
gender-reversed take on the Radha-Krishna myth that takes the adoring
heroine-worshipping Varanasi boy through some exceptional unacceptable
circumstances. <br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/raanjhnaa2.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Towards the second movement of his extraordinarily well-crafted
screenplay Aanand Rai takes Kundan's destiny to the Delhi University
campus. <br /><br />Bringing campus politics into a film about compulsive
love may not seem like the easiest of marriages to implement. It is to
Rai's credit that he doesn't lose hold of his characters' collective and
individual destiny even while moving out of their home turf. <br /><br />
The characters dither, stray, falter and lose focus. The narrative
never does. Rai's storytelling remains remarkable steady and pure. His
affection for his characters doesn't colour his view of a
rapidly-changing world where love and politics make bizarre but
compatible bed-fellows.<br /><br /> To read the film's political overtures
as an intrusion into the central romance is to interpret the life of
love as being mono-chromatic. Aanand Rai's film embraces all the
experiences, pain, anguish, sacrifice and selfishness of love. There is
scarcely a single false note in this love liaison. <br /><br />
Hats off to Rai's actors for getting it right. Every performer including
a bit-player like Rahul Shankliya whom the forlorn hero encounters at
the river ghat, seems to have come into the picture knowing not only his
or her own lines but everyone else's as well.<br /><br /> There is an air
of unrehearsed preparedness in the way the actors pitch their
characters. Dhanush's performance would go down in cinematic history as
one of the most consistent and compelling portrayals of single-minded
ardour. <br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/anand-rai1.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
As for Sonam Kapoor, she is a complete revelation! In a born-again
performance she sparkles and shines creating a kind of sunshine-girl who
is so taken up with herself that she doesn't get the chance to see what
affect she has on the other until it's too late. <br /><br />Specially in
the last half-hour when she must play out the murky game of politics
Sonam comes to grips with the very complex emotions of her character and
carries the role to a very dignified and fulfilling closure. <br /><br />
Swara Bhaskara as Dhanush's devoted ill-treated girl-pal and Mohammed
Zeeshan Ayyub as his loyal friend, once again prove themselves
natural-born scenestealers. <br /><br />
Raanjhanaa is a very simply-told story of a love so intense durable and
destructive that it hurts. The inner turbulence, tumult and tensions of
the central alliance evolves from the vibrancy of Varanasi, from each
fluent note of Rahman's music, and from every pore of director Aanand
Rai's transparent honest passionate treatment of that much-misunderstood
emotion called love.
<br /><br />
As I look back on this deeply-satisfying film I search for flaws. And I
come up with one. Would anyone every want to fall in love with a girl
so selfish she allows the man who worships her to be destroyed right in
front of her eyes? Is love, then, only about giving and not expecting
anything in return?<br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/raanjhnaa3.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
If Rai's remarkable love tale seems so richly sublime and vibrant it's
partly because Sonam and Dhanush have submerged themselves into their
characters until we see only their love. . . rather, his love. </div>

<b>After the star apparently demanded Rs 20 crore for an ad, a cement brand had no option but bow out of the deal
</b><br /><br />
For his last cola endorsement, Salman Khan apparently received a whopping amount of Rs 20 crore as his remuneration.
<br /><br />
However, sources from the industry say that the same amount was simply
unaffordable for a Rajasthan-based cement company who allegedly wanted
to sign the star as the face of their product. <br /><br />Salman
currently has seven brands in his kitty, which includes being the face
of an entertainment channel. Buzz is that the cement company in question
apparently offered him Rs 10 crore but Salman refused to budge from
what he had initially quoted.

<br />
An insider says, `The brand is relatively new and the amount offered was
to include the commercial as well as promotional events.` <br /><br />The representatives of the company met his managers and they had
apparently green signalled the deal. But it later fell through, after Salman expressed his dissatisfaction about the money.
<br /><br />
But the company couldn't afford to pay Rs 20 crore.` <br /><br />A friend of
the star says, `Salman feels that since the brand is not very
well-known, he should at least get a big amount. The brand had no option
but to
drop their plan.` Salman's manager did not revert to our text messages.

<b>Contrary to rumours that he has moved to south Mumbai, Aamir Khan stays put in his favourite suburb
</b><br /><br />
Ever since his childhood, Aamir Khan has been a true-blue Bandra guy.
Not only is his residence in the Pali Hill area of Bandra, his office
too is in the same suburb.<br /><br />
After his home recently went under renovation, the star and his family
were rumoured to be shifting to South Mumbai. However, our sources say
that Aamir will remain in Bandra and has rented two floors of an
apartment complex on Carter Road.
<br /><br />
A source states, `His home in Pali Hill needs a lot of repairs, as the
building is very old. Aamir has moved to a sea-facing building called
Fareeda on Carter Road and has taken two floors on rent.`
<br /><br />
Those close to the actor say that Aamir has converted one of the floors
into his office space and sitting area, while the other is where the
star will reside.
<br /><br />
<br />

<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/aamir-home.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
`It's a spacious flat. Since his apartment is on the higher floors, it gives a panoramic view of the sea, ` adds the source.
<br /><br />
<b>Welcome to our home</b><br /><br />
On Sunday night, Aamir and Kiran hosted their first guests at their new
home. Apparently Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji had dropped in to
exchange pleasantries with the actor and his director wife. Onlookers
say
both Rani and Aditya, dressed in black, looked happy together.

Janvi Taurakhia, Sooraj Pancholi's former girlfriend, says she never encountered the violent abusive man who stands accused of
abetting actress Jiah Khan's suicide. She has said Sooraj is the most gentle and soft-hearted person she has known.
<br /><br />
Sooraj, son of Bollywood actor-couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, is in judicial custody till June 27 and lodged at the
Arthur Road Central Jail.<br /><br />
Jiah committed suicide June 3. After a five-page letter by Jiah was
recovered and handed over to the police, Sooraj was arrested
June 10 on grounds that it was "incriminating" evidence against him as
she had blamed him for various problems she faced during
her lifetime. Bail was denied to the 22-year-old on June 21.<br /><br />
For Janvi, who dated him for five years, "it's like reading and hearing about another person altogether".<br /><br />
<br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/sooraj-pancholi.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
"Of course, my heart goes out to Jiah's family. But I couldn't believe
they were talking about Sooraj! This Sooraj who is supposed
to have done these awful things to that poor girl is not the Sooraj I
know, " said Janvi.
<br /><br />
"My Sooraj is incapable of violence against anyone. He hates any kind of
confrontation. Whenever we fought, I was the one who
was more aggressive. He would quietly leave the room. If he's angry or
upset, he likes to be on his own to work his way out of the
problem, " she added.
<br /><br />
Although they broke up, Janvi says she is still best of friends with Suraj even today.<br /><br />
"And not just Sooraj. I am very fond of Aditya uncle and Zarina aunty. They are like family to me and my mother, " she said.
<br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/sooraj-pancholi8.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Asked if Sooraj ever ill-treated her, Janvi said: "No! Never! Do you
think I'd have been with him for nearly six years if he ever did
anything like that? When I read the news accusing him of physical abuse
and what not, I was too shocked for words. Sooraj can
never behave like this."<br /><br />
Defending her former boyfriend, she went on to say: "Suraj's biggest
weakness is his over-emotional nature. He gets upset by
any hint of unpleasantness. To inflict pain or violence is unthinkable
for him. He is one of the most soft-hearted souls I know."
<br /><br />
Janvi is appalled at the thought of Sooraj spending time in jail. "I
can't even begin to imagine how he is coping with all this. He
may look very macho, but he is a baby inside."<br /><br />
She also said: "I don't think Sooraj had any inkling of what Jiah was
going to do. Knowing him the way I do, he would have never
allowed it. It's very unfortunate that he's caught in this situation. I
just can't stop thinking of how he must be coping."
<br /><br />
Even Janvi's mother Alpa Taurakhia vouches for Sooraj's innocence.

<br />
"He is a darling, an absolute lamb who wouldn't hurt a fly. And I say
this, although my daughter and Sooraj had split, and I really
have no reason to defend him, " she said.</div>

Sandeepa Dhar, who plays a key role in "Bold Bollywood", a film
reportedly based on actress Jiah Khan's recent suicide, says the term
'bold' in the film's title signifies confidence and strength.
<br /><br />
"Its very important to be bold in Bollywood. Bold in the title doesn't
mean lesser clothes or sexual commutations. Bold here means you need to
be strong and independent, " Sandeepa, who made her Bollywood debut
with the 2010 film "Isi Life Mein", said in an interview here.<br /><br />

<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/sandeepa-dhar3.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Sandeepa believes "her decision of becoming an actor is very bold in
itself", and she considers that "a bold attitude" is a must to survive
in showbiz.
<br /><br />
"You need to be bold in you attitude in order to survive in Bollywood, " she said.<br /><br />
Directed by debutant Rikshhit Matta, the film also stars Hazel Keech and
Shweta Bhardwaj in the lead and revolves around three aspiring
actresses who come to tinsel town to make it big.

Jiah, who made her dream debut in filmdom with Ram Gopal Varma's
"Nishabd" starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in 2007, ended her life
June 3.

All the speculation about the release of the next Salman Khan starrer
can be put to rest. Mental, Salman's home production which is a remake
of 2006 Telugu hit Stalin would be released on January 24.
<br /><br />
The date coming from the within the core group of the Mental unit puts an end to all the speculation about the release.
<br /><br />
This would be Salman's first major Republic Day weekend release. So far
all of Salman's recent films have been released during Eid. But this
year the superstar missed his Eid date because of health and legal
issues.
<br /><br />
Says a source close to the project, `After it was clear that Salman
won't be able make it on his traditional Eid Friday, he urged Sohail to
try for a Republic Day completion and release. And now the Eid release
for
Mental is locked in. `
<br /><br />
When contacted Sohail confirms, `Yes, we're shooting continuously and our tentative release date is January 24. `<br />

<b>How some amorous tweets from Uday Chopra to Nargis Fakhri seem to have suddenly vanished into thin air after sometime?
</b><br /><br />
Uday Chopra is at it again.
<br /><br />
The Dhoom actor has now gone a step further -- he’s apparently even
thinking babies! At least that’s what seemed to be on his mind when he
put a message recently. <br /><br />
Uday stated, “Nargis did you know we are related. Your future sons’
father is my fathers’ son. ” After which his best buddy Abhishek
Bachchan tweeted, “Get a room kids!!!!!!”<br /><br />
The reply that Abhishek Bachchan gave Uday Chopra that went missing later<br /><br />
<br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/nargis-uday-tweet.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Both these tweets later went missing from their respective sites. <br /><br />
Uday was in no mood to give up. He played safe with random messages
about the Rockstar actress. “One unknown fact about @NargisFakhri she
loves to travel - god help the man who gets in her way of traveling. ”
<br /><br />
He then went on naming things Nargis loves which also included him.
“Things @NargisFakhri loves traveling, spas, Doritos, pizza and ME!, ”
tweeted the actor and then stated, “Ok fine I don’t love @NargisFakhri
but
please don’t tell her that or she’ll kill me. ”
<br /><br />
Uday then struck a note of caution. He wrote, “Ok fine @NargisFakhri and
I are just “friends” yuck that sounds so boring…all this was just part
of the #UdayChopraMadnessHour”. <br /><br />
He further added, “My apologies to @NargisFakhri I was just having some
fun and maybe I went overboard. You will not hear from me again…goodbye
and good luck. ” Interestingly, Nargis chose not to respond to Uday
on her microblogging site. We like Uday’s Humour. At least he is openly
amusing. <br /><br />

<b>Tweet talk in the past</b><br /><br />
Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri had indulged in public PDA on their microblogging site last month too. Here’s a sample. . . <br /><br />
@NargisFakhri: long time no tweet- just asking people, 5 things they are
grateful for. Curious to hear what u r grateful for? Do share. <br /><br />
@UdayChopra: I’m grateful for your beautiful smile, ur gorgeous face, ur
amazing body, ur striking personality and ur positivity. <br /><br />

<b>With Sanjay Leela Bhansali bagging the remake rights of 'Kanchana', has his acrimony with Salman Khan reached a new low?
</b><br /><br />
Looks like the rivalry between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan
could have reached an all-new level, with buzz about the director
landing the remake rights of South hit Kanchana. <br /><br />
There had been buzz a while ago that Salman was interested in acquiring
the project, which would have been helmed by his brother Sohail.
Ultimately though nothing turned out, apparently because of moolah
matters. Sources say the makers of the South movie wanted a whopping
amount of R 2. 5 crore just to hand over the remake rights. <br /><br />
Though Bhansali had directed Salman in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the actor
and the filmmaker had a bitter parting after Sallu apparently made some
vitriolic comments about the SLB's Guzaarish. Bhansali is now said to
be on the lookout for an actor for the project. <br /><br />
<br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/bhansali-srk.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
A source says, `There has been a lot of rumours about Kanchana's remake.
At the time when Salman was said to acquire the film, he was supposed
to play the lead role in the film. Later, it was said that Shah Rukh
Khan and Sanjay Dutt were also in race.<br /><br /> Other filmmakers too
seemed interested in the South hit. For Guzaarish too, it was Sallu who
was to act in the film initially. But SLB later chose Hrithik Roshan
over him and even cast Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. `<br /><br />
With the two not on speaking terms ever since, SLB bagging the project
could make things between the friends-turned-foes a tad worse. <br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/salman47.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
The source says, `Sallu and SLB's enmity is not new and this development
seems to have taken their acrimony to a whole new level. `<br /><br />
Bhansali remained unavailable for comment. </div>

<div id="author" style="color: #888888; float: left; font-size: 9pt; margin-bottom: 5px; width: 300px;">
<br /></div>
</div>
It may make juicy copy to say Abhishek Bachchan would be paired with Kareena Kapoor in Umesh Shukla's untitled film.
<br /><br />
But regrettably, it is not the truth.
<br /><br />
Poohpoohing a report on Saturday in a tabloid that Kareena is `seriously
considering` director Umesh Shukla's offer to star in his next with
Abhishek, Umesh says, `I've never in my life met Kareena Kapoor, let
alone offer her a role. The closest I've come to her is while sitting
some rows behind her at awards function. I've never approached her for
any role. `
<br /><br />
Aghast and amused Umesh says, `The tabloid's imagination takes my
breath away. According to them I had an hour-long meeting with her and
now I'm supposed to give her a full narration on Monday. <br /><br />All
this is news to me. Obviously the reporter who wrote this article knows
more about my activities than I do. Maybe I've been sleepwalking through
my meeting with Kareena. `
<br /><br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/umesh-shukla.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Umesh further informs there is no heroine for his film, nor a title. `I
will approach a leading lady after I lock in the script this week. I've
so far only finalized Rishi Kapoor and Abhishek for the film. `<br /><br />
Why not Paresh Rawal after their amazing rapport in Oh My God? `Because
the personality and spoken language required in this film suited Rishiji
more. But I will miss Pareshji immensely in this film. I will work with
him again in the near future. That's a promise I've made to myself. `</div>

<b>Aamir to miss his Christmas date as his upcoming action film with Katrina releases a week earlier</b><br /><br />
Out of his four last releases, three of Aamir Khan's films have released
on Christmas. But, if rumours are to believed, his upcoming film Dhoom
3, which was also set to hit the marquee on Christmas this year, has
apparently been pushed forward. <br /><br />The Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer is said to now release on December 17 instead. <br /><br />
According to the trade, the change of date is to capitalise on the
Christmas vacations, with no other major film releasing during the
period.
<br /><br />
A source from the production house says, `The makers are still in two
minds about deciding the exact date. The banner is also considering
December 20 for the film's release. `
<br /><br />
The spokesperson from YRF remained unavailable for comment.

<h3>
1. SRK in surrogacy controversy</h3>
Earlier last week gossip aisles were abuzz with the news that SRK and Gauri were set to have a boy through surrogacy.<br />
<br />
But
soon after the announcement now the star couple has landed in trouble
as the radiologists' association has demanded an inquiry about star
couple's awareness about gender of their child as sex determination of
unborn child is illegal in India.</div>

2. Wankhede Spat </h3>

SRK landed in trouble over a spat with security staff at Wankhed
stadium Mumbai during an IPL match, for which he was banned from
entering the sports arena.</div>

<h3>
3. Smoking in Public place </h3>
Although
SRK has number of times exclaimed that he want to quit the habit of
smoking, but it looks a distant aim for the star who fetched a legal
wrath for smoking in public place at Sawai Maan Singh stadium Jaipur
during an IPL match. </div>
<div id="alt_div" style="background-color: #212121; color: #eeeeee; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt; padding: 8px; text-align: justify;">

<h3>
4. Disrespecting Indian Flag</h3>
SRK
had another unholy rendezvous with a controversy when a case was
registered against him for disrespecting the Tricolor during the
celebrations after the Indian cricket team's victory in the World Cup
final.</div>
<div id="alt_div" style="background-color: #212121; color: #eeeeee; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt; padding: 8px; text-align: justify;">

<h3>
5. Environmental violations</h3>
It's not that only SRK is the loved child of controversy even his belongings are not an exception to it.<br />
<br />
In
2012 Shahrukh's dream home Mannat also landed in a legal soup
environmental violations as nearly 20,000-sq metre seven-storey home
fell with the Coastal Regulation Zone.</div>

<h3>
1. Nasha </h3>
Much
before bagging any cine offer, tweeter queen Poonam quite eloquently
exclaimed that with her Bollywood debut she will flabbergast everyone.<br /><br />And up till an extent Poonam is succeeding in astounding the masses by the promos and posters of her debut flick <em>Nasha</em> which reportedly narrates the story of an affair between an 18 year old boy and a 25 year old woman.</div>

2. BA Pass</h3>
Besides <em>Nasha</em>
another cine saga, knitted around the core of illicit romanticism,
which is talk of the town these days is Shilpa Shukla and Shadab Kamal's
<em>BA Pass</em>.<br /><br />Reportedly this love saga of a teenager and a
mature woman is loosely based on 2009 short story, The Railway Aunty by
Mohan Sikka.</div>

At it's release even Manisha's <em>Ek Chotti Si Love Story</em> landed in the shooting trajectory of moral police due to it's bold content.<br /><br />The movie showcased the story of a 15-year-old lad and his voyeuristic love for one of his neighbor.</div>

Although SRK and Deepa Sahi starrer <em>Maya Memsaab</em>
was more about an extra marital affair but at the same time movie also
dealt with cougar-ism where a married woman seeks libidinal
gratification from a much younger man (played by SRK). </div>

<b>The handwriting of Jiah's letters found in Sooraj Pancholi's
residence appear distinctly different from the one handed over by her
mom Rabiya Khan</b><br /><br />
A similar letter, reportedly written by Jiah just before she committed
suicide, was handed over to the police by her mother Rabiya, a few days
after the tragic incident. Questions are now being raised about the
authenticity of the handwriting spotted in the two sets of notes
retrieved from the two families. <br /><br />
Both the letters have portrayed Jiah as the much-in-love girlfriend.
While the letter that was found at Sooraj's Juhu residence was signed
'Nafisa', the note handed over by Rabiya was unsigned. The copies of
both the
letters are with MiD DAY. <br /><br />
Eyeballs have been raised over the apparent distinctly different
handwritings observed in the two sets of letters, prompting the police
to forward them for forensic lab tests. <br /><br />

(left) Letter, which was sent to the media by Jiah's mother. According
to her this was Jiah's suicide note (right) Letter which the Pancholis
say was one of the five that Jiah had written to Sooraj earlier<br /><br />
A common friend of Jiah and Sooraj says, `The handwritings seems to be
different and the language style also varies. In the meanwhile,
according to sources, Jiah's family could be leaving for London soon. `<br /><br />
While the Pancholis refused to comment, Rabiya's boyfriend Tom Thomas
quipped, `All the speculations are wrong. We are waiting for the
experts' opinion. Once the reports come, we will take further action.
All the
letters were written by Jiah; how can anyone claim otherwise? Even if
the experts say the handwritings are different, we will still take
further action. `<br /><br />
Jiah's mother took to social media to state, `I am going on a spiritual
retreat to connect myself with my daughter...I am still with you, I will
respond to your tweets when I return. Nirmal I think wo bhag raha hai
after
letter disclosure!` Aditya's real name is Nirmal. <br /><br />

<br />
A police officer has termed as "media speculation" that late actress
Jiah Khan's six-page letter does not match her handwriting, saying that
no such statement had been released and the letter would be sent for
forensic examination.
<br /><br />
"There is no new development as such. All these reports in the media
which say that the handwriting does not match are media speculation. We
have not released any such statement. The letter willnow be sent to
forensic experts," Vishwas Nangre Patil, Additional Commissioner of
Police (West), told.
<br /><br />
Jiah Khan committed suicide June 3 and before her death she reportedly
wrote the letter in which she talked about her doomed relationship with
alleged boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, the son of actors Zarina Wahab and
Aditya Pancholi.<br /><br />
It is being speculated that Jiah's handwriting does not match that of the letter.
<br /><br />
Kavita, Jiah's younger sister, told: "This is all speculation. The
letter was written by her only. Why would anyone do this for no reason?"
<br /><br />
Sooraj was arrested June 10 in connection with the suicide of the
"Nishabd" actress is in judicial custody. His bail plea hearing is June
21.

<b>BMC officials visited the actor's Bandra mansion after
reports surfaced that he had opted for a pre-birth sex determination
test for his third child through surrogacy</b><br /><br />
Health officials from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)
visited Shah Rukh Khan's home in Bandra after reports emerged of him and
wife Gauri Khan allegedly having conducted pre-natal diagnostic
techniques (PNDT) tests to ascertain the sex of their surrogate baby. <br /><br />
The visit comes following the news that Gauri and Shah Rukh are having a
third child - a boy - through surrogacy. The superstar would be in deep
trouble if the civic body proves that he indeed carried out PNDT tests.
<br /><br />
According to the Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) Act, punishment
for a doctor who conducts sex determination tests is three years in jail
while it is five years for a man who asks for such tests. Officials
acted
after advocate Varsha Deshpande, who works in the field of female
infanticide, complained to the state government about the illegality of
the PNDT tests.
<br /><br />
Receiving instructions from the State Health Minister Suresh Shetty,
officials from the civic body visited Khan's home in Bandra.
<br /><br />
<br />
<center>
<img align="middle" border="0" src="http://media.santabanta.com/newsite/cinemascope/feed/srk-gauri25.jpg" style="max-width: 620px;" /></center>
<br />
Confirming the news, Arun Bamne, BMC's executive health officer, said,
`Shah Rukh Khan was not in town when the officials went to his home in
Bandra. <br /><br />The official report will be submitted soon. ` He also
confirmed that health officials met SRK's secretary, `They however
denied the test, ` added Bamne. When MiD DAY tried to contact Pooja
Dadlani, Khan's secretary, she refused to comment on the issue. <br /><br />Meanwhile,
Jaslok Hospital has also sent out a clarification after reports
surfaced that Shah Rukh and Gauri visited the same doctor as Aamir and
wife Kiran had for their surrogacy - Dr Firuza Parikh.
<br /><br />
`Dr Firuza Parikh, the director of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics at
Jaslok Hospital has not done the surrogacy for Mr and Mrs Shah Rukh
Khan. She is not involved in the care of their alleged surrogacy, ` said
an
official spokesperson for the hospital. </div>
