The handwriting of Jiah's letters found in Sooraj Pancholi's residence appear distinctly different from the one handed over by her mom Rabiya Khan
A similar letter, reportedly written by Jiah just before she committed suicide, was handed over to the police by her mother Rabiya, a few days after the tragic incident. Questions are now being raised about the authenticity of the handwriting spotted in the two sets of notes retrieved from the two families.
Both the letters have portrayed Jiah as the much-in-love girlfriend. While the letter that was found at Sooraj's Juhu residence was signed 'Nafisa', the note handed over by Rabiya was unsigned. The copies of both the letters are with MiD DAY.
Eyeballs have been raised over the apparent distinctly different handwritings observed in the two sets of letters, prompting the police to forward them for forensic lab tests.

A common friend of Jiah and Sooraj says, `The handwritings seems to be different and the language style also varies. In the meanwhile, according to sources, Jiah's family could be leaving for London soon. `
While the Pancholis refused to comment, Rabiya's boyfriend Tom Thomas quipped, `All the speculations are wrong. We are waiting for the experts' opinion. Once the reports come, we will take further action. All the letters were written by Jiah; how can anyone claim otherwise? Even if the experts say the handwritings are different, we will still take further action. `
Jiah's mother took to social media to state, `I am going on a spiritual retreat to connect myself with my daughter...I am still with you, I will respond to your tweets when I return. Nirmal I think wo bhag raha hai after letter disclosure!` Aditya's real name is Nirmal.
Jiah Khan's letter will be sent to handwriting expert: Police
A police officer has termed as "media speculation" that late actress Jiah Khan's six-page letter does not match her handwriting, saying that no such statement had been released and the letter would be sent for forensic examination.
"There is no new development as such. All these reports in the media which say that the handwriting does not match are media speculation. We have not released any such statement. The letter willnow be sent to forensic experts," Vishwas Nangre Patil, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), told.
Jiah Khan committed suicide June 3 and before her death she reportedly wrote the letter in which she talked about her doomed relationship with alleged boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, the son of actors Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi.
It is being speculated that Jiah's handwriting does not match that of the letter.
Kavita, Jiah's younger sister, told: "This is all speculation. The letter was written by her only. Why would anyone do this for no reason?"
Sooraj was arrested June 10 in connection with the suicide of the "Nishabd" actress is in judicial custody. His bail plea hearing is June 21.
